Take a notary seminar in a heavy populated area to become a successful mobile notary public. In a wealthy neighborhood the chances of becoming a successful mobile notary public is much higher then other areas. Many residents who work in film, television or other entertainment industries need services where the person comes to their location. Cities with a larger population and feature the entertainment and television industry are ideal clients. If you want to be a Notary Public, taking one of many notary seminars available. This is the first step in becoming a certified mobile notary.

Many notary seminars are available, both in large cities and surrounding areas, and in distance learning format. Notary seminars are six hours long, but some courses will break the six hours into two three-hour sessions over two days. Then you must be fingerprinted and submit two passport photographs of yourself. After the application process is complete, you'll be ready to become a traveling notary public.

When becoming a traveling notary, you should know how to spread word of your services around. If you work in a business office, let your colleagues know that you're now a notary. You can also place an ad in the local paper advertising your services, and advertise online in online directories and phone listings.
