The Twenties era that brought the world gangsters, flappers, and speakeasies was one decade to remember. Remember this glorious time in America's history with a twenties theme party. Play games all night long in keeping with the twenties theme such as various card games and crossword puzzles. Twenties party pames and printable activities are fun for party guests of all ages.

Find the Prohibition Agent. The party host, secretly, tells one of the party guests that he or she is a prohibition agent. During the course of the party, the party guests must ask each other questions such as whether or not they are the prohibition agent, either blatantly or more subtle. Once the party concludes, have the players wrote down who they think is the prohibition agent by voting on index cards. A good idea is to have everyone wear name tags. Once all the votes are tallied the party guests may or may not have discovered the prohibition agent and the real agent is revealed.

Murder Mystery Game. A murder mystery game is a fun way to pass the time during the twenties theme party. Party guests get to play characters and use their intellectual skills and wit to decipher who is the culprit. Murder mystery games can be rather complicated so emailing the party guests their roles in the game beforehand may be recommended.

20s Dart Throwing. For young children at the party give them fun party games to play as well. Place posters of art deco, gangsters, and 1920s on plywood and have each children throw darts at the posters. Place small sheets of paper with numbers (points) on the posters. The child who earns the highest number of points is the winner. Another option is to place inflated balloons, about the size of a mango, on the posters. The child who can pop the most balloons in a certain amount of throws is the winner. Award the players with posters, toys, 20s costume accessories such as hats and beaded necklaces etc.

1920s Dancing Contest. Have guests put on their dancing shoes and dance their hearts out to some of the famous dances of the day such as the Charleston, Foxtrot, The Waltz, and Fleahop and many more. Award a special party favor to the party guest who put on the best show.

20s party games will ensure the party is the cats meow among all party guests. Throwing a successful 20 theme, or other era party, is a great way to celebrate a special occasion.
