Throw The Grooviest Woodstock Theme Party With The Coolest Party Games

Woodstock was a revolutionary musical event that happens once in a lifetime but that does not mean those who lived through it cannot experience a resemblance of it one more time. Have party guests dress up in 60s clothing hippie style and play the music at the original Woodstock.

Balloon Pop. Balloon Pop is a fun game all party guests, young and old, can play. Woodstock is all about having fun and no better way to have fun that popping balloons as fast as possible by sitting on them. Spilt the party guests into two team standing in a single file line. On go, one player runs with a balloon in their hand, places the balloon on the chair and sits on it. They race to the next player, tag, and that player runs with their balloon and does the same. The first team to complete one round, two rounds, or three rounds (hosts choice) wins the Balloon Pop battle.

Pin the Flowers on the Love Bus. Draw and paint a 60s love bus on a large piece of poster board minus the flowers. Use fun, bright and bold colors for the bus. Cut out 60s flowers and give them to the players. Each player must place their flower on the love bus blindfolded. The object of the game is to place the flowers on the bus avoiding windows and the tires. Place a small piece of tape to the back of the flowers and let the party guests place where desired.

Who Am I. Who Am I is played by placing an index card taped to the players back. Players must guess who they are buy asking yes and no questions to other party guests. Since this is a Woodstock/60s party only use celebrities and musicians from the day.

Guess The Number. Place a variety of objects such as hippie beads and smiley face pins in a glass jar for party guests to guess as to how many are in the jar. Have party guests write down their name and their number next to the jar on a sheet of paper. Once everyone has written down a guess, the answer can be revealed.

Woodstock theme party is also a great birthday celebration for a young child who was not present or born during the Woodstock and hippie era. Have the little boys and girls dress in hippie style clothing with simple Woodstock Party games and Printable Activities. Printable activities can include word search, word scrambles, and crossword puzzles all Woodstock related.
