Why is Bankruptcy a growing problem for the senior citizen generation

Today,senior citizens are facing bankruptcy at an alarming rate. Why is that?

The two main reasons is simply time and money. Because of increase prices for our normal goods and the fact that seniors are living longer today more that ever before, seniors are out living there money more and more. Sometimes is poor planning, sometimes is higher medical cost or loss of retirement income from company cutbacks, company closings or jobs going to other countries or a combination of all.

But higher prices for ordinary goods and services have hit the senior citizen community very hard. Plus the older we get the harder it gets. The bankruptcy filings of thoes 75 and older has quadrupled over the past several years. This information is from a study by "The Consumer Bankruptcy Project" which examined a sampling of noncommerical bankruptcy filing between 1991 and 2007

Again, what do we do? Many take full time, part time jobs in retail, food service, or other service positions that pay low wages just to help make ends meet.

But more and more of us are turning to the computer and the internet looking to start our own home based business. The internet does not ask how old you are or what is your work history, your background or anything else. It does not care. You get rewarded for what you do and know and nothing more.

But because of our age and for the most part, fixed income,we don't have a lot of time and money to spend on trial and error. We need to know what we are doing the first time around.

I think most of us, when thinking of a home based b8usiness, think of multi level marketing,amway, herbelife, etc. But what they teach, going to meetings, in-home showings, etc, takes the two things we don't have to waste. Time and money.

Again, where do we go and what do we do? There is a new system in town and it called attraction marketing. When done right, it's designed so your potental clients will come to you instead of having to go after them. You become the hunted instead of the hunter. This in turn will save us all a ton of both time and money.

Do it right, and where you are to day will be only a bad dream from where you could be or at least well on your way a year or so from now.You deserve the financial safety this means to you. It is also something you can teach your children, grandchildren how to do and let them continue with your success long after we are gone. There is an old saying "you can give a man a fish and he eat for the day, teach him how to fish and he and his family eats evermore. What more could you leave behind.
