If you have bad credit, you may think there is no point applying for a loan, even if you need the finance. However, this is not the case. There are many companies available that will be willing to lend to you even if you have an adverse credit rating.

In fact, some loans are designed specifically for people who have a poor credit rating, CCJs, previous mortgage arrears, or who have defaulted on loans in the past.

Searching for a low-cost secured loan can be made a lot easier if you decide to work with a broker. They will be able to compare hundreds of lenders to find the loan that meets your needs.

After all, if you manually contact one lender, you will only be able to compare the loans from one company.

An alternative to this is contacting all the various loans companies, comparing interest rates and charges and then finding out the ones that are willing to lend to you. Do you really want to do all that work when your loan application may be rejected?

If you work with a broker, they will act as your personal shopper. By searching through the loans market, they will do the legwork for you, and could alert you to some adverse credit loan deals you might otherwise have missed.

Brokers will have hundreds of contacts in the loans market, which means they will have unparalleled access to secured and unsecured loans. You will be able to find a loan that suits you and your budget quickly and easily.

When you have a poor credit rating, you may want to borrow in order to consolidate your debts. By taking out a low-rate loan to pay off existing debts, you can dramatically cut the interest you are paying, reducing your monthly repayments and getting your finances back under control.

Secured loans often have much lower interest rates compared to unsecured loans. This is because some form of asset is named as collateral to back-up the loan. Naming collateral means the risk to the lender is greatly reduced.

Whatever the purpose of your loan, using a broker to search the market for you is a fast and efficient way to find an adverse credit loan deal.

And secured loans can be for almost any purpose. Whether you want to take a well-deserved family holiday, or to fund some important home improvements, a broker will be able to find the right loan for you.

Gordon Parkes has a particular interest in helping people with bad credit get low-rate secure loans to sort out their finances. Find out more about the cheapest secured loans and obtaining adverse credit loans.
