If you've ever considered running a criminal background check on someone, you're certainly not alone! Everyday thousands of people head online to run a background check on someone. Today we show you how it's done.

People will look into someone's past and criminal record for a variety of reasons. They might be hiring someone, looking into a nanny or maybe they're curious about someone they started dating. There's plenty of reasons as to why youmight dig into somebody's past, and thankfully it's now easy to do.

There was a time when you had to rely on detective agencies to retrieve this type of information. Now, you just have to go online to find out all sorts of details about someone's past. There's no need to go to an outside agency anymore and thankfully it's no longer expensive to find out background information on someone.

There are now professional background check websites that allow you to run a search through their database. The database contains all sorts of records on people. You can find out someone's criminal record, marriage history, employment details and plenty more. It's truly impressive to see the amount of information that you can uncover about someone.

There's a charge for running a criminal background check, but thankfully it isn't very much. The companies charge because it costs money to maintain the websites and keep the databases up to date.

One tip is to find a website that charges a one-time fee for unlimited background checks. This ends up working like a membership - you can then login and run a background check on someone whenever you want. In the longrun it's a much better option as it saves you a substantial amount of money over paying for each individual search.

You can also try to find out information on someone's background by entering their name into google. Enter it in between quotations and follow it with their city if you know it (ex. "John Smith" Texas). Hit search and then have a look at the results that come up. Every now and then you will find something useful in the results that Googe turns up.

If you don't find what you need go ahead and use a paid search. Here you're sure to find what you're looking for and you'll get the results instantly on your computer screen. It's an incredibly useful tool to have up your sleeve!
