Learning to play the piano is a personal undertaking that provides a lifetime of pleasure and challenge that can be as introverted or as extroverted as suits the pianist's comfort level. Playing the piano is a gratifying every time the pianist sits at the stool and practices, plays or pecks away at an old favorite for the one thousandth time.
