So many people get online everyday with a desire to make money online. The problem is there is so much useless information out there that it can be very hard to know where to start or which way to go. So, I am just going to give it to you straight. Now, before you can make money online you must understand that it takes work to be successful. There is no get rich quick system that will make you alot of money by tomorrow. Sorry, but thats the truth. If that is what you are looking for then you will never be successful online. You will just keep jumping from system to system never making any real money.

So stop looking for a get rich quick system and start looking for a proven system that really works. If your ready to do that, keep reading. I am going to show you the first few steps you need to take to start making money online. Ok, so the first thing you need to do is find a product you want to promote. It can be either a product you have created yourself or an affiliate product.

Once you have your product you need to do some simple keyword research to make sure people are looking for the product or service you have to offer. There is nothing worse then putting hours and hours into promoting a product that no one wants. One easy way to see if a promote has the potential to be profitable is by going to google, typing in keywords pertaining to your product and looking to see how many sponsored ads there are.

If there are alot, then its a very good chance that you can make money with your product. Advertisers won't pay for ads about a specific product or topic unless they are making money from it. Once you see that your product or service can be profitable, you need to set up a simple site or blog to promote it on. Use services such as blogger or weebly to set up your online presence. Both are free.

Once you have that set up its time to start driving traffic to your site or blog. If you have some money to spare you can use PPC. Please take the time to read and understand PPC before you invest. If you are unsure of how it works you will lose alot of money very quickly.
