If you run a small business you need customers. There is no way around this. Without customers your business will not survive very long. And depending on your situation, you might not be able to afford things such as radio or newspaper ads. So what should you do? What is the best way for you to advertise your business? How can you attract more customers without breaking the bank? Well my friend, its really quite simple. Get a sidewalk sign. Thats right, the right sign can be the difference in your business succeeding or failing.

For instance, have a huge 50% off everything sale. If people see that on a sign, they will have the urge to stop and come in, to see what you have to offer.

If you run a burger joint or some other kind of food place, try something like half off Tuesdays or free drink Fridays. You have to be creative. The goal is to get the people in the door. Once you get them there, you offer superb service and you will not have a problem getting them to come back. And chances are, the next time around they will bring a friend or two.
