Are you aware that there is a big difference between knowledge and wisdom? Believe it or not, this information can transform your life. It definitely has affected my life in many profound ways.

Simply stated, knowledge comes from our wonderful minds. It is learned information, and referred to as our intelligence. The mind is logical and programmable and in our left brain. The dictionary says it is, "understanding based on experience." It is like a limited computer, because it only knows what you programmed into it. It does not originate new information, but it is great for recording it and passing it on to others.

In contrast, wisdom comes from our spirit. It is not-programmable and it stems from our right brain. Unlike knowledge, it is not learned. Wisdom is intuitive information that is unlimited. We receive the messages from our inner knowing, vision, and words, and a gut-feeling. All creativity comes from our intuition. That is where original art, music, and inventions, and our brilliant doctors and scientists, etc. come from.

We all have inner wisdom expressed through one or more of the four ways of receiving intuition mentioned above. It goes beyond logic and beyond the physical, and that is why it is called metaphysical. If we only believe what we see with our physical eyes or ears, we are using our knowledge, but not our higher wisdom.

Many years ago, I set my intent to make decisions from my wisdom instead of my logical mind. I have had many wonderful experiences that continue to confirm that I made the right choice.

An example of listening to my inner, wise voice is the time I was driving to a county fair. My friend told me that I had better park at a place that was about 8 blocks from the entrance, because I would not get anything closer. Logically, I could not argue with him. However, my intuition told me to keep going and make a left turn by the entrance. My friend was amazed when I a car immediately pulled out and made room for me. I easily find many parking places with my unlimited wisdom. Have you had a similar experience?

Another example of the value of intuition is when I gave a personality-type test to help an eye doctor, John, receive more information about his compatibility with a potential associate doctor, Jeff. After they answered the questions, I met with them to discuss the results. According to this very well-known, logical, accurate personality-test, the two doctors showed good compatibility. They balanced each other's strengths and were likely to co-create a successful partnership.

However, I informed the two doctors that I intuitively felt that Jeff would not stay long. They decided to proceed with the new partnership. They worked well together for a few years. John was very disappointed when Jeff decided to leave for no logical reason.

Besides time and energy, your wisdom can also save your life. I recall hearing on the news that some people followed their intuition and did not go to work at the Twin Towers on the morning of 9/11. There are many stories of people who did not go on their scheduled flight for no logical reason. When they heard the news of the plane crashing, they were very grateful that they had listened to their intuition.

You can also own your all-wise, all-knowing wisdom. Take the time to quiet your mind and tune-into your intuition. Have the courage to trust your inner messages and act on them. It can keep you safe and save you time, energy and money. It can help you enjoy a fun, amazing adventure called life.
