So, here I was, hugely missing my income target not by $20k, or $30k but by well over $100k. And in the course of that first year I spent many thousands of dollars trying to figure everything out, so I was definitely moving in the wrong direction. Thomas Edison I felt a little like Thomas Edison when he finally figured out the electric light bulb after 2000 previous trials, and was asked by a young reporter, "how it felt to fail so many times, and Edison's classic response was: I never failed once, it just happened to be a 2000 step process! Well, starting a brand new online business, if you've never done it before, is very much like this - a lot of trial and error, a lot to learn. So what's the solution?
