Whether you are looking for Las Vegas roller coasters or Las Vegas pools, you can find something for everyone in one location for your vacation. Here is a look at some roller coasters to make you sweat and some swimming pools to keep you cool.

1. New York New York Hotel and Casino. This hotel and casino contains one of Las Vegas roller coasters that is visited by thousands every year. The New York New York roller coaster takes you up 203 feet and then drops you 144 feet at 67 mph and then turns you 180 degrees and lets you hang in mid air at 86 feet up. This heart-pounding ride is sure to get your blood pumping. Afterward the family can relax in a beautiful Las Vega pool.

2. Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. The Stratosphere contains many Las Vegas roller coasters, including the x-scream, insanity ride and the big shot. The big shot goes up 160 feet giving you a 1,081-foot view of the Las Vegas strip below and it goes up to 45 mph. If you are not into the roller coaster excitement take a look at the Stratosphere pool. These Las Vegas pools have an amazing view of the strip. Located on the 18th floor of the Stratosphere it has 68,000 square foot area, with 15,000 of that just for the pool. It is an outdoor heated pool with a separate European sunbathing pool. Bar and café at the pool with pool toys, rafts and cabana's available, this oasis is sure to be a hit.

3. Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. This Las Vegas roller coasters site has the world's larges indoor, double loop double corkscrew roller coaster along with many other things for the family. Log rides, bumper cars, laser tag and a special FX theater to name a few. As far as Las Vegas pools go this one may not be the most adult friendly, but Circus Circus has three pools outdoors, one open all year round, heated to 80 degrees. They range in depth from 3-6 feet and are great for kids. Inter tubes and cabanas are available.

4. Sahara Hotel and Casino. The next of our Las Vegas roller coaster located on this site is call "Las Vegas' best attraction" by Vegas.com. This roller coaster called, speed the ride, can go from 0-45 mph in just 2 sec and then again from 35-70 in just 2 sec. The coaster goes, as high as 224 feet and the track over all is 1,365 feet long. The ride produces massive force on the body but only lasts for 45 seconds. Considering the Las Vegas heat, there's no doubt that swimming pools are a big part of the tourist attractions. The pool at the Sahara is five thousand square feet, is located outdoors, has fountains and cabanas available for rent. This pool site has a refreshment stand and a beautiful backdrop for relaxing. Remember when looking for Las Vegas roller coasters or Las Vegas pools to check on life guards for the children in the pools and seasonal scheduling if either is located outdoors. There are so many different options for the family Las Vegas vacation.
