For sports teams looking for a unique way to share their team pride and bond with one another, personalised hoodies are a great option to consider. These comfortable and stylish apparel options perfectly transition from the playing field to everyday life, and are a great way to build rapport amongst team members. The personalised aspect also adds a special extra touch, whilst dressing your team uniformly looks professional and attractive.

Hoodies have steadily gained in popularity over the course of the past several years, and many sports teams now sport these unique garments. Hoodies can be personalised in making different ways, making it easy to differentiate between players, and also adding a personal factor to each item of clothing. Many sports teams choose to feature the name of their team on the front of the hoodie, and the back is used for the team member's name, nickname, or squad number.

There are several different options available for personalised hoodies, both in terms of the actual garment and the personalisation attached. Most hoodies are made from pure cotton, as this makes them easy to launder and keeps them in good condition for the long haul. For sports teams who choose to practise in their hoodies, lightweight options might be a better fit. Polyester and cotton blends are an increasingly popular option.

Another benefit of choosing to personalise hoodies for a sports team is the added protection the garments can provide against the elements. If the sport is to be practised in the cold winter months, hoodies can provide extra insulation from the weather. As it is rather difficult to wear winter apparel when participating in physical activities, personalised garments are a great alternative to consider.

The personalisation and team name can be added to the piece of clothing in multiple ways. Screen printing is generally the cheapest option. Screen printing attaches an ink graphic to the fabric through the use of a specialised printer, and is a good solution for most sports teams. Some teams instead opt for embroidered hoodies, in which each garment is individually stitched with the desired information and lettering. Embroidery is more expensive than screen printing, but it does not have the same risk of the lettering coming loose with heavy wear.

Team members themselves often enjoy wearing personalised hoodies, as it is a great way to demonstrate their pride in the sports team and publicise the group to the public. Hoodies are also a great way to keep everyone together at large sporting events, when several different groups may be present to partake in the games. This makes it easy for team members to find one another in the crowd, and for spectators to find the team they want to watch play.
