For men who wish to let their personality shine through, a pinstripe or windowpane suit could be the way to go. Pinstripe is a popular pattern with vertical lines. Pinstripes are typically pencil-striped or chalk-striped. Like the names imply, pencil stripes are going to be thinner, more conservative stripes and chalk stripes are thicker and more freestyle. For a more outgoing and outspoken man, a windowpane suit is a stylish selection. The 'windowpane' pattern gets its name from the vertical and horizontal stripes which come together to make a square pattern which resembles a windowpane.

Check-patterned men's suits can be tastefully done, although some can appear to be over-the-top. If you choose a conservative colour, the vertical and horizontal lines can make a bold and eye-catchy statement. Another men's suit style which is trending right now is the skinny trouser suit. This style seems to be popular among the younger men or those that are in relatively good shape.
