Nuts.

Their loaded with fat.

So will eating them add rolls around your waste?

If you think YES, then you could be in for a bit of a surprise.

In 2007 Purdue University ran a ten week study. The Findings were stunning. Women who ate 344 calories per day from almonds (almonds are mostly fat) did NOT gain weight.

It doesn't stop there.

A 24 week study published in the International Journal of Obesity compared two groups of people. They ate an identical amount of calories. Only difference was that the diet of the first group was 39% fat while the diet of the second group was only 18%.

Brace yourself for the findings!

After 24 weeks those who ate the "fattier" diet lost more weight!

Remember... these two groups had eaten the same amount of calories. The findings seemed to point toward the fact that you can eat fat to burn fat.

So here's the question...

Why do many "experts" continue to claim that eating fat will make you fat?

The answer is simple... They are naive.

Many of the so called "experts" truly believe that an apple is an apple. That all food is the same. That one 1500 calorie diet is no different than the next, regardless of the food consumed.

HUGE mistake!

My point is that there are GOOD fats and BAD fats. The fat used to cook your food at the local restaurant is NOT even close to the fat you'll get from almonds. Just like the carbs you get from that piece of white bread are garbage compared to the carbs you get from brown rice.

The "source" makes all the difference. Other factors include how the food was grown and whether it contains preservatives.

So getting back to the whole eat fat to burn fat discussion.

If you are trying to lose weight fast then cutting out "GOOD" fat from your diet is a fatal mistake.

At least these are my beliefs. And the studies confirm it. But even more than the studies, my own experience confirms that you should eat fat to burn fat.

I consume a large amount of nut fats on a daily basis. I have a stomach virtually void of excess fat.

I know many others who experience similar results.

My point is, consuming fats is essential for a healthy, transformed body. So if you're struggling you may need to boost your intake.

A great place to start would be to add almonds to your diet.

Other good sources of fat include things like peanut butter, walnuts and avocado. There are many more.
