So that's kind of a strange headline.

I know if I would have heard it a few years back I would have been highly skeptical. I mean if I'm trying to lose weight the last thing that seems logical is to eat more! Practically every "expert" has been telling you that you need to consume fewer calories to lose weight.

And just look at all the diets available...

The vast majority of them are centered around simply eating less food.

But as hard as it might be to believe, the secret to your weight loss just may be held in eating more.

You see, the plain truth is that if you're overweight you simply have excess FAT STORAGE.

Did everyone catch that?

You are simply storing too much fat. Of course... DUH! Now before you run away from this article let's examine the reason. I mean, why would your body store excess fat?

And to understand that all we need to do is look at examples from the real world.

I live in the Midwest and when there is a pending "BIG" snow storm on the way everyone scurries out to the store to stock up.

Why?

Quite simply, because nobody knows when they will be able to go to the store again to get more food. They want to have enough food on hand to last them a long time.

Your body may be storing fat because it does not know when it's going to eat again, and it wants to have food on hand. In other words, you are experiencing a famine.

And what's the number one cause of famine?

Yes, it may be that you simply are not eating enough.

But more often than not, I find that fat storage is caused by a lack of proper nutrition.

In other words, your body may be nutrient deprived and it makes no difference if you are eating enough calories. In fact, you can be eating way more than enough calories, but if the food you are consuming has low nutritional content you will be nutrient deprived.

So what to do?

Well, the primary thing that you should do if you are overweight and want to lose it is to examine your diet... NOT with the intent of cutting calories (The amount of food that you eat), but with the intent of eliminating the non-nutritious food choices and adding more nutrient dense foods to your diet.

This simple technique just may work wonders for your weight loss.
