What do each of these weight loss methods have in common?...

- Restrictive Dieting,

- Starving yourself,

- Cutting carbs,

- And eliminating fatty foods.

Two things actually...

1. They are completely unsustainable.

2. And the results will NEVER last.

So here's a question that will reach in and grab you by your common sense...

Why do you continue to try them?

Probably because you got fast results. You actually dropped a few pounds at first.

Meaning, whatever method you tried worked in the short term, which got you hooked.

As a result you continue to return to it.

It's a lot like winning ten bucks off of one of those "scratch off" lottery tickets you buy at the gas station. You won some money at first, so you keep buying them.

Only problem is after 30 more tickets your luck runs out and you quickly find yourself in the hole.

And that's exactly where you find your current physical condition.

Unfortunately, you probably still believe that the reason the fast results didn't keep coming was because you just didn't try "hard" enough.

And that's the fatal flaw with most people.

They believe that they just need to "scrub harder". That somehow if they try harder their results will be better.

Most people never consider that the weight loss approach is doomed to fail from the beginning.

Case in point: If I invented a new weight loss method called "The lightning fast, don't drink water for two days diet", I could get thousands of people to run out and give it a shot.

Would they lose weight?

Of course.

By the second day they would be so dehydrated that the scale would most likely have plummeted by ten pounds!

Would the weight stay off?

NOT A CHANCE.

As soon as you begin drinking water again it will all come right back. Worst part is you've most likely killed your body in the process. (*NOTE: There is no such thing as the "Lightning fast, don't drink water for two days diet". It is completely made-up. Do NOT try it because it will be harmful to your health.)

My point in all this can be summed-up in the following sentence: It makes no difference how "hard" you try to lose weight... if the approach is wrong, the fast results won't last.

Bottom line: You need to STOP chasing diets and other fantasies and get real.

That means, consistently apply what works.

And "what works" tends to be very basic. But what most people just don't get is that the "basics", applied correctly, will produce very fast results.

Best part is, the weight loss will actually last.

When it comes to applying the basics, there are certain tricks that most people don't know. Which is why they don't lose weight.

In my next article I will reveal a five step formula that shows you a few tricks to applying the basics so you can rapidly melt away flab.

Stay tuned for the secrets.
