Even for less experienced computer users, this notebook computer provides a straightforward and clear approach for navigating the screen and various features. The Linux environment is made to be user friendly and intuitive, so you'll find that it's simple to find what you're looking for, such as a file you may have downloaded and want to open or share. You can also easily increase the storage capacity by using an SD card and inserting it into the computer's memory card slot.

When you look at the Aspire One as a whole, considering the design, features and cost, it's a good value. If there's one serious drawback to this computer, it's the limited battery life. The three cell battery that comes with this model is quite a bit weaker than that found in many other computers, including other Acer models. Whereas a longer lasting battery can last up to nine hours, this one is more likely to last you three. If you only need to use it for short sessions, or if you can use an AC adapter to plug in the computer while you're using it, this won't be a problem for you. The Acer Aspire One, as we've seen in this review, is a quite impressive computer for its size and cost. Whether it will be right for you depends on how demanding you are on issues like battery life and if you're comfortable working on such a small computer. Of course, this model was designed for people seeking a low cost, and extremely lightweight notebook, so if that's what you're looking for, the Aspire One is a great choice.
