3 Beauties of Nature

There are many beautiful things in nature that we can enjoy and that we should appreciate more. Some of them are on our doorstep and some further afield, but they are free and available for all to enjoy. Here are just a few.

1. The Alps

Granted, getting to The Alps can be an expensive experience, however there are plenty of ways to do it if cost is a concern. Many people associate The Alps with skiing, and while there are plenty of fantastic ski runs in the mountains there are plenty of other things to do while you are in Europe's highest mountain range. In the summer you can take part in all sorts of activities, maybe just walking through them - as you take in the full splendour of their magnificent peaks and deep valleys. Remember, the skiing is amazing, but there's so much more to them as well.

2. Your Own Back Yard

Assuming you have a space out the back of your house there is often plenty that you can do to it attract nature. Indeed, even if it's an absolute mess there will still probably be some wildlife of interest in there somewhere. Of course, if you like your garden to be neater then you 'll need to spend some time doing it up. This can be time well spent of course, as flowers attract bees and other insects and well-maintained trees - devoid of dead leaves or branches - can attract birds and other interesting wildlife. If your garden is in a real mess you may need to hire a professional to help you, but once the work is done the effect is well worth the initial outlay.

3. Dawn and Dusk

For as far as back as we can write, man has always committed his thoughts to paper or cave walls the importance of the sun, and indeed they were right to do so as the sun gives us a lot of energy and enables life, albeit in a manner entirely different to how earlier generations imagined. Even today we find sunrise and sundown fascinating, as its rosy fingers paint our surroundings yellow then orange then red in a captivating daily show.

As you can see these are just a few of the wonderful things that nature has to offer and there are many more out there that you only have to open your eyes to appreciate. What do you think will capture your imagination next?
