Tree houses can be one of the most fantastic places we can go to when we are children yet there are many across the world that are built for adults too. Here are a few of the exciting places people can be in the branches.

Children's Tree Houses

As mentioned in the introduction children often spend many happy hours above the eye line of their parents up a tree. Of course, the tree has to be well-maintained given the inherent safety risks involved with having several small children playing several feet off the ground and it is often a good idea to hire a professional such as a tree surgeon to evaluate the dangers or placing a tree house in a particular tree.

Of course, once you have found the right tree then buying the right house is the next task as you consider issues such as size and the specific logistics of having a tree house in that tree. Some people decide that either because they don't want to spend the money or can't find the right house that they will build a tree house for their children themselves, and this can be an exciting project that involves the children so that they can learn about building while you bond with them.

Houses In The Trees

For some the fascination of living in a tree house doesn't leave them as they grow out of childhood and this leads them to develop a similar type of house to that in which they played while younger but in a more complete manner.

Tree houses for adults can almost be complete houses (although there are often problems with issues such as pluming and electricity, for example) or they can almost be a summer house which a family moves into during the warmer months so that they can enjoy the benefits of camping for several months with the security and amenities of a house nearby.

Of course, some families not in the western world live in trees not out of choice but because it's the safest thing to do. These tribes people are becoming less and less frequent however they're not completely extinct yet and live in a way that some of us in the western world find fascinating.

As you can see there is a lot more to a tree house than simply the bit of plastic that you occasionally see shoved in
