3 Things To Do Under The Trees

We spend a lot of our time out and about, rushing from one stressful situation to another. However, when we do get to relax one of the best places to do so is beneath a tree. Here are a few things you can either alone or together, beneath a tree.

1. Reading

Reading in its own right is a very relaxing and stimulating pastime that is often enhanced if done beneath a tree. The extra oxygen produced by the tree means that you are much more likely to be able to let your imagination be more fertile as you picture the scenes you are reading about. Of course, if your book isn't a novel and is all together more technical in nature then you'll be able to concentrate much better and take in whatever it is you are reading about that much more effectively and understand the nature of what it is that is being explained.

2. Sleeping

There are few treats in life better than being able to get some sleep under a tree when you are tired and need a break. If you have the time, lazing away beneath the leaves and branches can be so relaxing and worthwhile that once you awake you will feel much more recharged and ready to go out and conquer the world again. While you would never dream of doing this while in inclement weather you would obviously want some protection from the sun should you sleep for longer than you mean to and so the very branches of the tree can provide this exact shelter and shade for you.

3. Having a Picnic

While there's nothing wrong with having a picnic on your own most people would agree that it's much more enjoyable to do it while with friends and so you can socialise in a picturesque manner under the leaves and branches. Whether it's a case of nipping out of the office at lunchtime for a bit of sun and fresh air while in the company of a colleague or a friend who works nearby, or organising a day out with some of your friends, you'll often find that having a little bit of food with you , and if appropriate some wine, can mean that the time flies by as you enjoy yourself.
