The Internet makes it possible for you to be involved in direct sales without actually doing any selling yourself. You can still experience of the advantages of making money in direct sales, but you do not have to do all the things that direct salespeople did in the past.

It is possible to make money from home and never talk to anyone. You may wonder how this is possible?

1. Email follow-up. Many direct sales opportunities now have landing pages that you can promote.

You have probably seen these on the Internet. They are also referred to a splash pages and are designed to capture the attention of a prospect, capture their name and email address, and then begin to follow up with them via autoresponder.

The nice thing today is the direct sales company takes care of this for you. They already have autoresponder set up with email messages that began to contact your prospect immediately.

These messages are designed to drip information about the product on the prospect. They are also designed to get them to go to the website of the product you are selling and take action.

2. Phone follow-up. You will be sent a copy of the lead when you promote a landing page. our website also will include a place for your phone number.

You can follow up with these people via phone if you want to. However, today it's possible to make sales without ever talking to anyone.

Some companies such as Primo Vacations offer a Professional Business Assistant that will talk to your prospective customers for you. The nice thing about Primo Vacations is they do not charge you anything for this.

Other companies will provide phone follow-up, but they will take a percentage of your commission as a fee to the closer. This is still okay because again you are not doing any of the phone sales yourself.

3. Websites and blogs. The direct sales company has excellent marketing tools such as websites and blogs that will be coded with your I.D. number. These are ready to promote right out of the box.

Some will suggest you buy a domain name and redirect it to your website. I would also suggest that you consider starting a blog of your own. This way if you ever want to promote other products in the future you can do so because you have control over your own blog.

4. Video marketing. This is a powerful selling tool that is a proven winner. Google owns You Tube and they rank videos for targeted keyword phrases.

This is a good way for you to get your product online in the form of a video where people can find it. By including your website URL at the bottom of the video screen shot you can drive very targeted traffic to your site.

These are all tips on how to do direct sales without selling. You can still experience the advantage of making a lot of money in direct sales and today you can have limited contact with the actual customer
