I've carried on conversations with people all over the United States, in Canada, in Israel, in London, and everywhere really. Think about the ways you could use Skype to build an online business. One of the first thing that comes to mind for me is the direct sales field. If you're going to be selling products on the Internet sometimes you may need to talk to a customer. If you don't want to burn up your cell phone minutes, or you do not have a land line, Skype is the perfect solution. If you were in a network marketing program you could use it to interact with your downline. They have a video conferencing feature as well, so you can talk to people and see them while you're talking if you want to do that. Any Internet business that requires training is perfect for Skype. This could be true not only for direct sales and network marketing, but if you are doing 2-tier affiliate marketing. One other thing to consider is if you're a blogger and you need to get fresh content. I have used it to talk to people in Hawaii and then write a blog post about our conversation.
