What Tim Tebow Can Teach You About Internet Marketing

Could you learn something from Tim Tebow about Internet marketing? No, he does not use the Internet to make money online. However, if you look closer at what he does do as an NFL quarterback there are some lessons all of us could apply to our own online home business.

1. Believe. It's interesting when you listen to a Tim Tebow interview the word believe always comes up. He certainly has the Denver Broncos believing they can win any time they step on the field.

As an Internet marketer you need to believe you are going to achieve your goals. I think when you get down to it most people do not really believe they deserve to succeed, or that they are really going to succeed.

2. Practice. Phil Simms said Tebow throws hundreds of passes in practice. He is the first one on the field before a game and again is constantly throwing passes.

Marketing your business online many times just comes down to practice and finding what's going to work for you. Article marketing is a good example of this.

You can become a better article writer just through practice. The same thing is true with other forms of Internet marketing including blogging, video marketing, and even social media.

3. Game plan. Tebow and the Broncos have a game plan in place to defeat their opponents.

Do you have a game plan in place to build your Internet business? This could be something as simple as committing to adding fresh content to your blog every day until you're making money from Google Adsense.

It might be a long-range plan to add a new website every month until you are earning a six figure income. Depending on your personal goals you must devise a game plan to hit them.

4. Improve. If you have been promoting things online for any length of time, and are not getting better at it, you need to step back and figure out why.

You should be a better Internet marketer today than you were yesterday. If you are not improving all the time you are actually going backward with how quickly things change online.

5. Never give up. To me this seems like an old cliché, yet it is really true.

Tim Tebow has so many come from behind wins because he never gives up. Can you say the same about your online business?

There are many lessons we can learn from watching people who succeed everyday. Tim Tebow certainly is a great example of this. As Internet marketers we can apply some of these basic principles to make more money!
