When I am looking for a product that pays a larger commission for selling it, I search for big ticket products. I might also Google search phrases such as "earn big commissions" or "super commissions".

This brings up the question of what is a big ticket product? Or what qualifies as a big commission? There are a few things to keep in mind if you are looking for a big-ticket product to sell to earn you a higher commission.

1. Product price. It is amazing to find products that you can sell for over $100,000 as an affiliate. Amazon.com has several of these products right now that you can sell and make money online with.

The higher the product price generally the lower the commission rate will be. However, you do not have to make as many sales to actually earn more money selling products that cost more.

2. Commission rate. This has always been a drawing card for digital information products.

You can earn commission rates as high as 75% selling digital information as a ClickBank affiliate. One thing to know is most of the ebooks you will sell their cost under $50, and the money you make might only be $20 or $30 per sale.

You want to earn as high of a commission rate as you possibly can. There are programs that will pay you 100% of the sales price. There are big-ticket programs that also will pay you a high commission rate to sell a products in the $500 to $10,000 range.

One thing to keep in mind is some commission rates can be negotiated after you prove yourself as a super affiliate. Affiliate merchants are willing to pay you a higher commission if you can sell more of their products.

3. Direct sales. There are big ticket items that can be sold for direct sales companies.

You can find this on the Internet with travel clubs, Internet marketing coaching, mlm companies, and other direct sales opportunities. Directselling411.com is an excellent site to learn more about direct sales and find a company to sell for.

4. Internet marketing skills. As a general rule you will have to be more skillful on the Internet if you are going to ask for more money.

In reality once you learn how to target the right audience, selling big ticket products is no more difficult than selling a $30 ebook. The key is to be presenting your products in the right way and to the right target market.

These are a few things to keep in mind regarding big ticket products and earning big commissions. There are many excellent opportunities on the Internet to do this with today!
