Google loves blogs that consistently add fresh content. Let me offer you a couple of blog publishing tips that will help you do that.

First of all let me say I'm not talking about auto blogging. I've learned the hard way that publishing content from other sources that is not unique can actually do more harm than good.

What I'm talking about doing is adding fresh content of your own on a consistent basis even when you don't feel like writing. This is possible to do following a couple of steps.

1. Write more at one time. When you feel like writing sit down and crank out numerous articles at one time.

I'm talking about writing 10 or even 20 blog articles in advance. I used to do this all the time when I had a full-time job and was concentrating on article marketing.

I got to where I could write 4 articles of 400 words in one hour. I might write for three or four hours on a Sunday afternoon if I was in the mood to do it.

You can do the same thing with blogging. The big difference is the blog articles only need to be 150 to 200 words for them to be effective.

This means that anyone can easily sit down and write almost 1 month's worth of content in five hours. The way to effectively do that is to research your blog article ideas in your spare time when you don't feel like writing.

Develop a swipe file of ideas and even write your titles in advance. Then when you sit down to write you can focus strictly on content.

Are you any good at typing? I'm not! I dictate all of my articles using Dragon Naturally Speaking from Nuance. I can talk a lot faster than I type so I can write blog articles faster this way.

2. Publish in advance. The way to do this is post all of your articles and then choose a publish date in the future.

Get them all set up with content, hyperlink your text, and graphics. Use the all-in-one SEO Plug-in from Word Press and take care that at the time you're posting the article.

By publishing in advance content can be added to your blog even when you're not paying attention to it. Again if you have all your articles prewritten you can pretty much take care of one month's worth of content and then forget about it for a full month if that's how you want to do it.

The only thing you may want to do is bookmark every 4th or 5th post to social directories using Only Wire. You could check your blog 2 times a week and spend less than 5 minutes to do it. This is a good way to build backlinks to your blog.

Follow these tips to consistently add fresh content to your blog. Publish on a consistent basis which eventually will get the search engines spidering your blog regularly as well.
