Never Do This If You Want To Be A Full Time Blogger

Would you like to stay at home and be a full time blogger? There are literally millions of people doing this all around the world today. It's very easy to get started, and the demand has never been greater to make money blogging for yourself, or writing for other people's blogs.

In this article I want to concentrate on the strategy of making money blogging for yourself. It's very important that you never do one thing when you first get started if your goal is to eventually to make money from home full time blogging.

What is the one thing you must never do?

Do not set your blog up on a free blogging platform. Blogger.com is owned by Google and makes it very easy for you to start a blog. There are other free blogging platforms you should avoid those as well.

The reason you should not set up a Blogspot blog with Google comes down to 1 word, and that word is control. When Google hosts your blog they control whether it stays online or not.

It is a very sickening feeling to wake up one day and realize that Google has canceled your blog. In typical Google fashion they do not have to let you know why they have done this either.

Imagine how terrible it is to spend months, or even years building a large blog, only to have Google shut it down overnight. This has happened to millions of people all around the world.

Usually the reason a blog is canceled is because of duplicate content. Today Google is very strict about blogs that contain content that can be found elsewhere on the Internet.

People who have tried to build their blogs 100% around duplicate content, private label rights content, or auto blogging, run the risk of having Google shut their blog down. However, there are people who play by the rules and have found their blogs canceled as well.

Today website hosting is very inexpensive. For example, you can host an unlimited number of blogs at Host Gator for about $10 a month.

When you host your own blog you are now in control. ou can purchase a domain name for less than $15 a year.

There are many free WordPress themes you can pick from to quickly set your blog up. Host Gator has the Fantastico Program that makes setting up a WordPress blog as easy as clicking a couple of buttons.

You can then spend all your time building a blog that you are proud of. You can monetize it in numerous ways including affiliate programs and make money that way.

The great thing is you do not have to worry about your blog being canceled. As you become more experienced you can add more blogs and make more money. Blogging is a great way to make money online when you do it correctly.
