Locating a legitimate home based business is not always easy to accomplish. There are 4 red flags that you want to pay attention for that will tell you if an idea is legitimate or a scam.

Always look for the following 4 red flags when searching for the right idea for you.

One: Unbelievable income claims - If you find an idea that claims you will be able to earn an unbelievable income in a very short time, this is a red flag to tell you they are likely not legitimate. No one will be able to promise that you can make any amount of money in any amount of time.

They can tell you what others that have started a business with their idea have earned and they can tell you what they will pay you for your hard work, but they cannot tell you that you will make $54,000 within 24 hours, for example.

No legitimate business will make a guarantee of an income or make an income claim at all since it is illegal to do.

Two: No contact with you after you have contacted them - If you have contacted a company through email or with a phone call, you can always expect to get a reply from any company that is legitimate, but never one that is a scam.

The scam companies will never respond to you, no matter how many times you try to get in touch with them.

Three: No product or service - If you find a company that does not have a product or service, but claims you can still make money with their business, then this is one to avoid. Not having a product or service to sell is illegal and one of the best ways to spot the real companies from the fake ones.

Four: Profits that are not really profitable for you - A legitimate company is always going to offer you a generous commission because they want you to promote their business. The scam companies will offer you a very slim profit.

Always make sure you check the commission you will earn to begin a business with any company because this can be a big indicator that you have stumbled on to a business that you want to avoid at all cost.

These are the 4 red flags you want to pay attention for as you search for a legitimate home based business. If you use these as a guide, you will be able to start a real business in no time and avoid any online scams.
