When I started to make money online I focused on helping people. One way that has worked for many years now is to provide an article writing service that includes writing content in various ways.

Here are 4 of them that people will pay you to do and it does not take a lot of experience to get started.

The reason I say it doesn't take a lot of experience to get started is people will pay you to write information for them if you can do a better job then they will do. You have an advantage if you're an American writer.

You can quickly spot articles that are written by English speaking people from other countries. This is not to knock people trying to make money from the Philippines, India, and so on. However, these articles do not contain the same quality of grammar that articles written by an American English writer contain.

I've always said if you can speak you can make money writing. Here are a few ways you can do that.

1. Article writing. Articles for article marketing purposes still work and are in demand. These need to be around 400 words and target a specific keyword phrase.

Your customer is purchasing these articles so they can submit them to article directories. Give yourself a built-in advantage and offer to write a resource box for your customer that includes a hyperlinked keyword phrase in it.

2. Blog writing. Blog articles only need to be 150 to 200 words to be effective. A good way to make money writing blog content this way is to target specific themes you have an interest in, or knowledge on.

Do a Google search to start finding blogs that need content. Contact the owners of these blogs and you can very quickly build up a clientele.

3. Autoresponder messages. Some people are not building an email list because they don't know how to write autoresponder messages.

You can learn how to do this by just subscribing to various people's email newsletters. Take a look at how they structure their autoresponder messages and learn how to copy their format.

4. Website content. Search engines favor websites that contain a lot of helpful content.

You can make money writing web page content similar to article writing. Learning how to structure website content around search engine optimization gives you an advantage when selling your services.

These are 4 ways to make money writing content. Anyone can learn how to do this for part-time money. As your customer base grows you can turn it into a full-time business if you want!
