The economy has forced more people to search for ways to make money online. Some have decided to start an online home business of their own. You might be one of them!

What I am finding is many of these people have no Internet marketing experience and really do not know how to promote an online home business. Let me offer a few tips on what I think is the best way you can do that.

1. Forum marketing. I like this for 2 reasons. One you can find a lot of free information to help you promote online. Secondly you can promote your own Internet home business without spending anything to do it.

The Warrior Forum would be a good place to start. The Work At Home Forum is another one.

Spent a little bit of time every week educating yourself on how to market online. While you are in the formum start participating in discussions.

Set up a signature file that links back to your home business website. Take a look at what other people are doing to come up with good ideas on how to create your own signature file.

2. Think viral. Whenever you can get other people to promote your business for you it will grow that much quicker.

Give away a free ebook with links to your online home business. Write a free report on how newbies can get started with their own online home business. Encourage people to give away your ebook or free report.

Create a funny video and post it on You Tube. All of us to dream about creating a viral video that millions of people watch!

3. Article marketing and blogging. This is a good combination to promote any online home business.

Write articles and submit them to online directories where the search engines and readers can find them. Post unique versions of your articles on a blog and bookmark it to social directories using Only Wire.

Let people know they are free to post copies of your articles in their own email newsletter or blog. Let them know they must keep the article intact and include your name and website URL as the author.

4. Start a work at home newsletter. There are alot of these online and they are referred to as ezines.Try and find a unique angle that someone would want to subscribe to your newsletter to learn more about starting their own online home business.

Publishing an email newsletter is a good way to build your own home business. It's also a good way to build an email marketing list for future programs you may want to promote.

These 4 strategies are some of the best ways to promote an online home business.
