With any lens you can get sharp pictures when taken indoors with the rear sync, even at 1/30 of a second or less. When shooting in low lighting, the Speedlite can find your target and focus without the annoying test flashes. It just sends out a red light rather than the crazy electrical storm from the regular camera flash. Some of the negatives about the flash are, if you have big fingers, you will have a hard time pushing the buttons. It is pretty big, and it adds weight to the camera, but you will be impressed by how much better your pictures look.

If you are looking to improve your photography, you will find that this flash investment will make that happen. There are plenty of uses for this flash, and even when outdoors you will start seeing shadows, that your flash can lighten up. Grossly overexposed or underexposed photos will no longer happen, because the flash does a great job of calculating the right amount of light to expose the photo. You will like the ability to bounce the flash off of places like white ceilings, or even walls.
