The six-star Burj Al Arab Hotel on Dubai's Jumeirah beach is considered one of the biggest hotels in the world. It is the most recognisable landmark in Dubai and stands on a man made island two hundred and eight metres off shore. It is minutes from the Dubai World Trade Centre and is linked to the mainland by a causeway. The hotel has its own fleet of chauffeur driven BMW's and Rolls-Royces plus a helicopter.

The hotel has one and two bedroom deluxe, panoramic, club, diplomatic, presidential and royal suites. An appointed lifestyle concierge will take care of a guest's needs, from entertainment to making travel arrangements. Everything about this hotel is lavish and stunning by any standard. Facilities include superb dining, luxurious spa and extensive sports. Guest can use any of the amenities at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and visit the Wild Wadi Water Park.

Another of the world biggest hotels is the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It is a hotel and casino that has over five thousand rooms. It is known for the best nightlife in the area, live concerts, premier shows and award winning restaurants. It has an exclusive view and the deluxe amenities.

A deluxe king room is larger than most hotel rooms in Las Vegas and is elegant and comfortable with a luxurious king size bed, a suitable sitting space with a large desk and high speed Internet connection. The master bathroom is in black and white Italian marble with oversized vanity units.

A signature one bedroom suite covers an area of nine hundred square feet with separate living, kitchen, dining and bathrooms. They have a deluxe king size bed with a down duvet and luxury sheets. Deluxe marble bathrooms with dual sinks and Jacuzzi whirlpool baths, as well as in-room spa amenities. The suites have balconies, flat screen HD televisions, plus DVD and CD players.

The First World Hotel is one of the biggest hotels in the world, if not the largest. It is situated in the Genting Highlands of Malaysia is an ultra modern high rise hotel of international standard and designed to offer total comfort and luxury to its guests. It is in the heart of the city close to the casinos, restaurants and shops.

The First World has more than six thousand rooms made up of standard, standard view, deluxe, deluxe view, super deluxe and world club rooms, which include facilities such as air conditioning, electronic safety deposit box, television, tea and coffee making, telephone, hair dryer, radio, house movie and room service.

There is a choice of several restaurants, cafes and bars, conference rooms, business centre and banquet facilities. The hotel has a tennis court, gymnasium, shopping arcade, golf course, Cineplex, casino and indoor shopping arcade. There is also currency exchange, travel desk, concierge, beauty salon, reception, car parking, disabled facilities, doctor on call and staff that are multilingual.

A few others that are considered the biggest hotels in the world include the Luxor, Excalibur and Venetian Hotels in Las Vegas, as well as the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.
