There really is no clear way to describe what it feels like to go through a break up. The confusion and all the thoughts of wondering what to do next can be enough to make you tear your hair out. So, of you've just broken up with your man there is a good chance that you are wondering how to get your ex boyfriend back. There is a way to do it that will work in most situations. Notice that I said most. Sometimes a relationship is beyond repair. Everyone's relationship situation is unique, and there is no one answer for all people. So, what I will attempt to do here is to show you a technique that will show you how to get your ex boyfriend back. Trying to win back your boyfriend can be a daunting task. But this isn't a game, and you shouldn't be thinking of it in those terms. I suppose you could think of it as a test of sorts. What are you testing? You are testing the the notion that you will be able to show your ex boyfriend that your value is enormous, and that his life will be worse without you. The key word in that last sentence is value.

In order for you to learn how to get your ex back, you have to know how men think. This means you will have to have some understanding of male psychology. Let's think about value for a minute. What was your value in the relationship? What was his? Did you allow him to walk all over you and take advantage of you? Did he take what he wanted without ever giving back? Or, was the situation reversed? Was it you that took advantage of him? If a man does not feel he is the dominant force in a relationship, it will most likely fail. Dominant in this case is not about control. It is more about a sense of him feeling like he can provide for and take care of you. It is also about him feeling as though he is the most attractive thing in your eyes.

Assuming that he broke up with you, here's what I would like you to try. Do not under any circumstances contact him. Don't call him, don't text him, and do not check his facebook or myspace pages at all for at least 4 weeks. You want to show that you are OK with the break up even if you are not. You want to project an image of being fine without him. Show him that you are perfectly happy and capable to live your life without him in it. Also, make sure you go out and have a good time. Go on a few dates, even if you don't want to. And one of the best things you can do is to casually mention that you are hanging out with a new guy to one of your mutual friends. Word will get back to your ex boyfriend that you are moving on and that other men find you attractive. This will trigger a biological response in him. He needs to be the alpha male in this situation. This will cause him to stand up and take notice. He is realizing that you have more value than he once realized.

Once you do all of this, I guarantee he will contact you within this 4 week period. When he does you can tell him that you agree with the break up. You can tell him that you should still be friends and even invite him out for a drink or a coffee so you can test the waters of friendship. This will be the beginning your the two of you connecting again. As long as you can play it cool, you will have your ex boyfriend back in your arms before you realize it.
