Being controling

Controling behavior is a good companion for jealousy. Controlling who your girlfriend talks to and hangs out with is incredibly unattractive. This comes from a deep rooted feeling of not being worthy enough to be with her. A controlling man will keep his girl very close to him because he is afraid of losing her if he doesn't. Fear and insecurity are definitely not attractive behaviors that will attract a woman.

Putting her on a pedestal and not valuing yourself.

This has to do largely with self esteem. If you are always putting your girlfriend on a pedestal and putting greater value on her needs than on your own, you will soon find yourself by yourself. It is incredibly unattractive to a woman when you don't value yourself. Women want a man that will value himself as much as he will value the women he loves. This is a large reason why women are always attracted to jerks. I certainly don't advise you to be come a jerk, but you could think about the fact that having a solid value for yourself is attractive to your partner.

If you can identify some of the key mistakes that you were making in your behavior, you can begin to change those things. Once you take action and change these behaviors, you will be amazed at the different response you can get. Your girlfriend will definitely take notice. She will start to become attracted to you again. She will begin to look at you as a symbol of strength with a high sense of value. Those are definitely qualities that you should seek to cultivate if you want to get your ex girlfriend back and have her stay for a long time.
