Plan out your overnight stops. When you drive a car to Mexico, you can travel as far and wide as you please. If you are sticking to the beaches, this is not really an issue. Its just wise to consider driving times, distances, and places that have hotels available so you don't end up driving all night looking for a hotel. This is supposed to be a vacation after all!
