Each year, anticipation mounts as Semana Santa approaches. This is hands-down the most favorite time of the year for Mexican nationals and visitors alike. Not only does it fall in what is all around the best weather of the year - right before the summer rains in late March to mid-April - but it is a celebration of new life, and that can only mean one thing in Mexico - party time! If your idea of a good time is sunshine, beaches, parties and lots and lots of happenings, then there is no better time to head down to Mexico than during Semana Santa.
