Why do men cheat? This question never means that women don't cheat. Both men and women cheat. But cutting out the generalization, it is better put in this way: "Not everyone but some men and women cheat". Since we are concerned more about men in this article, we will look into the cause of infidelity on part of men.

Women think that they can keep their men is control and loyal to them only if they give sex because they think that men cheat or they become unhappy because they don't get appropriate amount of sex. How far is this true? The truth is that this notion is partially correct and partially wrong! It is true that men want sex but there are times when they look for emotional support as well. Most of the men are bread owner of the family and they really work hard to earn proper livelihood so that they can keep their family happy. It then that only a few words of appreciation can be enough to keep them going and they can stay loyal to their women and family. Words like, "You are doing way more than required" makes men happy. So, it is not always about sex. It is also about emotions because at the end of the day they are humans with sentiments.

However, there are many other reasons for which men can cheat on their women. Some of the most common reasons are mentioned below:

When it comes to sex, men love variety and this is because of the fact that they are genetically designed by nature to be able to have more sex than women (remember that it takes only on instance of sex for men to reproduce and women take 9 months). This is where the urge for variety comes in for men and they end up cheating!

There are men who think that having sex with several women will give the necessary boost to increase their self-esteem and ego.

Many men cheat simple because they are not serious about their relationships and take the same very casually.

There are men who think that their women have lost the urge of sex and hence, they end up cheating.

Men want to try out several things in bed which are new to their relationship. However, the women generally refrain themselves from participating because they are either afraid or simply because they are not ready and thereby causing a sense of disrespect among men. It is because of this reason that they get involved in other relationships.

Sometimes, lack of proper communication because a main reason for infidelity.
