HGH is a natural occurring hormone that is produced in the body that controls the growth process. Children and adolescents have an abundance of HGH because they are still in the growing stages. Their bones and their muscles are continuing to grow and progress until they reach adult hood. Most children do not have any problem with their HGH production in the body and they progress at a fairly normal rate. However some kids can develop hormone deficiencies in HGH or other hormones which can greatly affect the growth process.
HGH was initially recommended for children who were experiencing development problems due to a lack of hormone production. HGH was extracted from dead bodies and injected into the child. Only about a few drops of HGH was obtained from each body and the process was very expensive so this was not a very realistic process. Some of these children were also infected from the HGH by human pathogens and this lead to other more severe and sometimes potentially deadly diseases. Researchers have moved on from these early developments and have developed helpful and successful HGH treatments.
HGH has two types of cycles, direct and indirect cycle. During the direct cycle HGH binds to the targeted cells. The binding process occurs though the use of receptors present on growth hormones. During the indirect cycle HGH is released into the body. The release occurs through a series of subtle pulses that takes place while individuals are asleep. That is the reason why it is so important to get an adequate amount of sleep. The body undergoes a number of important processes while an individual is asleep. IGF-1 which is a byproduct of HGH is responsible for most of the beneficial effects that surround HGH.
HGH as mentioned before is responsible for the growth process and it decreases with age. A 4 year old body is producing more than twice the HGH of a 70 or 80 year old. Kids who do not produce adequate HGH can be given HGH injections to help their growth. These injections are given by a trained medical doctor and only after carefully consideration of how it might affect the body. HGH treatments are meant to help but the correct dosage instructions must be followed in order to ensure the safety of the patient. HGH that is abused can cause adverse affects in patients. Children and adults can experience ear infections, abdominal pain or bloating, vomiting, skin rash and more. HGH should not be given to normal children it can mess up their growing progress and they can develop abnormal bones or internal organs.
HGH has had a variety of uses over the years in both children and adults. HGH can help to heal an injury faster as well as help those who are trying to lose weight. It is important to remember that it is a drug and there are certain rules and regulations that must be followed. Medical HGH such as that used to treat hormone deficiencies is only available by prescription. It is against the law to obtain it by any other mean. Consumers should be ware that medical HGH is expensive and that insurance companies do not generally cover all the treatments.
HGH is so far the best tool we have against aging but we must be careful in our approach and educate ourself on HGH Side effects. If you are intersted in trying HGH supplements instead of HGH injections visit HGH supplements Review
