Hot Tub delivery and installation will be straight forward with some advanced planning and preparation.

Some simple ideas that you need to cover are simply where the Spa is actually going to be located.

Usually they go outside as they are able to be used in more or less any outdoor environment.

However some people like them inside, perhaps as part of a gym or a sports complex.

One very important consideration is the access to the proposed location of the Spa.

The dimensions of the door and gate openings to your property need to be carefully measured and compared with the actual size of the spa. Remember also that the Spa will usually be delivered on something like a piano trolley or a specialized spa dolly so some extra height needs to be allowed for getting in under gates with arches. Bear in mind that arches and that kind of thing can provide some height restriction that may then involve the use of a crane.

You need to consider the weight of the spa when full with water and people.

Will the proposed location be it a roof terrace, deck, patio floor or the floor of an inside location be able to support the load bearing weight?

Do you have sufficient electricity supply which should be from a dedicated independent breaker in your fuse box? Is that supply within a convenient distance from the proposed location.

Is there a sufficient drain close by that will take the water when you empty the spa?

Do not place the spa on bare ground. The ground must be prepared in some way either by simple paving stones laid on a hard core base or on to a properly prepared concrete base.

Do not place your spa below overhead power, telephone or cable lines.

Make sure that you can access the spa from all four sides and leave at least 30 inches so as to give sufficient space for servicing or routine maintenance. Sometimes we are asked to service spas when they are very close to a wall and whilst you can get access to actually work on the spa it is more or less impossible.

As with most things in life it pays to buy the highest quality that one can afford from a manufacturer who has been established for many decades as opposed to perhaps, secondhand or indeed a cheap import , remember the old adage that buying cheap usually means that you end up buying twice.
