Are there new spiritual beginnings in Delphi for 2012? Delphi was long looked upon as the place where the Oracle of Apollo lived, and where you could find out predictions of future events, whether on a global scale, or for your own personal benefit.

Even today, many Greeks come to this archeological site to find spiritual strength. Is there something here that everyone else doesn't know about?

While there are plenty of myths about new spiritual beginnings at Delphi there is nothing that is any different than those predicted about 2012 anywhere else.

These predictions tell tales about the end of the world new beginnings, as well as drastic changes to climate and environment.

People have been flocking here for thousands of years, and today is no different, except that now the temples are empty and decaying from the tests of time.

While December 12 of 2012 may be a new beginning for the world, it can also be a day just like any other. Doomsday prophets and Christian religions have been claiming that the end of the world is at hand over and over again, the last time was at the end of the last millennium, 1999.

While it is true that the world is on the verge of a drastic change, this has happened many times over the centuries, since before the Oracle of Delphi, the Egyptians, and for as old as the world itself is.

It seems that while the more technologically advanced we become, the less smart we are. Maybe this is because so many of us rely on our electronic gadgetry so much that the thought of having to live without these modern conveniences is scary.

Really, people have been living by the light of candles, firelight, and hunting with primitive weapons for thousands of years, and it hasn't really been that long since these modern conveniences were invented.

Look at the new spiritual beginnings in Delphi for 2012 like this. Maybe finally people who have believed in false gods for so long will have a spiritual awakening.

Maybe the people who are so fearful of change are going to be the ones the most effected by it, leaving a better planet for the rest of the people. Maybe it is time for Mother Earth to do some moving and shaking.

Instead of feeling fear of the unknown, it is time we embraced these changes. Maybe the beliefs of many people will be shaken up so greatly that they really have to think about where these have taken them.

Maybe even it is time to return to a simpler era, when humans were not so much different from the plants and animals around them, rather than having the impression that we are better, just because we have the ability to speak and understand things better.

Don't be fearful of these predictions of doom and gloom. There is no new beginning without some kind of end. Embrace the fact that this may be a time of great change, if you are meant to be here, then you will be, and if it is your time to go, there is nowhere you can run to, so you need to deal with it.
