Facts About Project Management

Project management is a plan with a combination of different data to complete and manage a certain project. PMP Exam

Being a Project Manager is not that easy. You will need to pass a test called Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam to confirm that you are fitted for the job. This exam is offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to ensure that the Project Managers that the employers will hire are approved to be an expert in project management.

This examination is composed of 200 multiple-choice questions where 25 of it are "mock" questions. Therefore, only 175 questions are counted for final scoring. Pass at least 61% from the total score or you will need to take the exam again.

However, this examination is mainly about testing your knowledge and skills in project management you have learned from your training.

PMP Training

Before taking any examination, you are required to prepare everything needed, including yourself. You need to know that this exam is different from any other exams. One of the requirements in taking a PMP course is a practical experience as a Project Manager. The number of hours to be documented is dependent on the degree you are holding: diploma, bachelor or master's degree.

And then search for an institution or company that offers a good quality of PMP instruction so that you won't be wasting your money, time and effort into it. Gather all the necessary materials needed especially the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK). This manual is also provided by the PMI and everything you need to know about what the PMP exam is all about will be tackled here. Just don't forget to acquire the latest version of this book. Every PMP exam is different and it is gradually changing, so as the PMBOK. In order to pass, you should get the latest.

Aside from that, you are also need to apply what you have learned through PMP training. You are going to experience handling a project and a project team. Utilize everything that you have learned and try to combine them and create something useful and effective way on delivering projects to success.
