Let's face it, as we age, our skin changes too. Small and subtle changes happen overtime, yet suddenly we notice them and think they happened overnight.

How many of us are "sun worshipers?" All the time we have spent tanning hoping to get that perfect tan to look great, can actually make us look worse. Research shows the sun is very damaging to our skin. Over time, too much sun exposure can start aging our skin.

Those fine lines are intensified after many hours of sun exposure; which is why it is so important to use a good sunscreen. The key component to a sunscreen is the SPF number. Sunscreen lotions contain SPF anywhere from 15-50. The higher the number, the stronger the anti-aging protection. There are fabulous anti aging skin care products that helps slow down the process and/or reverse fine lines - such as anti-aging skin care cream or lotions.

Anti-aging skin care products for the FACE

In order to protect our skin we need to use anti aging skin care products BEFORE going into the sun. There are anti-aging skin care lotions that contain SPF (to be worn under make-up). The benefit is that our face is protected from sun exposure. Sometimes we don't realize how much we are in the sun on any given day. Walking to and from the car to the office, to the gym, walking the dog, etc...

I also use a bronzer. As my age increases, I am not as likely to sun tan. Somehow my tolerance level has dropped. Therefore, I like to use a bronzer on my face that provides a sun kissed look without any burn spots.

Anti-aging skin care products for LIPS

Protecting our lips from the sun might is an oversight for many of us. There are marvelous lip products that contain an SPF factor which protect our lips - leaving them moisturized and smooth instead of sun-chapped.

Anti-aging skin care products for BODY

Lastly, one of my favorites; the Self-Tanning lotion. Again, the point here is to find anti aging skin care products to slow down aging skin. I have discovered that using anti-aging skin care cream on the body the most satisfying.

Find a self-tanner that will do the work for you - leaving you looking like you slaved under the sun. And not only does it give you a beautiful looking tan (think golden), it also contains an SPF factor which means it is protecting your skin when you are exposed to the sun.

Remember, you won't see the benefits until you try using anti aging skin care products for the face, lips and body.
