It may sound like a good idea to jailbreak your phone, but in some cases, it is not. One reason why you should not jail break iPhone 4s is because the phone was not originally made for you to jailbreak it. You could end up completely destroying your phone instead of making it work better. Then, you will have to purchase a new one, and these phones are not cheap.

Once you have officially performed a jailbreak on your phone, it will no longer be as secure as it was when you first purchased it. You can never be sure when something will go wrong after you jailbreak your phone. There is a strong possibility that something will happen while you are jail breaking your phone that will make it stop working like it is supposed to. Jail breaking your phone could stop a lot of your applications from working, and it will be nearly impossible for you to fix them.

If you try to jailbreak your phone, and you end up breaking it, this can cost you a lot of money in the end. To initially purchase a smart phone, you have to pay a good amount of money. If you try to jailbreak your phone, and you realize that your phone no longer works like it is supposed to, you may have to call someone to fix your phone for you. In the worst case scenario, you will have to shell out the cash to purchase a new phone.

Jail breaking your phone has some benefits to it, but you will have to weigh the advantages against the things that could go wrong. You will have to decide if you are actually willing to take that chance with your phone. There are some jail breaking tools that do not work, then all you will be left with is a broken phone. This would make this entire process a complete waste of your time and energy. You should consider not jail breaking your phone.
