My History and Background. Why I Needed Another Source Of Income.

I am a qualified Shipwright [boat builder] and I started my own business building and repairing boats whilst still an apprentice. What has this got to do with Online Money Making Opportunities you ask? I feel quite a lot in that it shows what sort of person I am and why I chose to have an online business.

This business was good to me, I met a lot of people and it allowed me to play with my boats including ski racing, yachts and even allowed me to literally take 5 years off, cruising in vessels that I owned ranging from 27ft to 72ft.

I cruised all round the SW pacific and the east coast of Australia. [Do not forget to include dear Tasmania]. As you can imagine, every hour was an adventure with some truly hilarious events.

Do not be fooled, each size yacht served a different purpose but I have to say the 68ft was a luxurious glamour which was far better equipped than home!

Suffering medically from all the chemicals we use in the industry and after 35 years my passion waned, nay disappeared. [Our industry was decidedly messy, what with fiberglass, epoxies and 2 pack paints] So I took a deep breath, and looked seriously at my situation.

I realised that the government [a complete book by itself], my staff and insurance companies were making an awful lot more money than I was and I really was not interested anymore.

Not a problem for such an "expert" in the industry. I thought, I will offload the business and become a one man show doing marine surveys and boat deliveries. Ah, the ever optimistic lad!

For a while it was good fun and making me money. But, alas, doing everything on a schedule made it decidedly boring and by this time the body was suffering as a result of various accidents at sea. I realized that it was time to step ashore and totally away from boating.

So here I am, washed ashore with nowhere to go except catching Alzheimers, suffering from gout and telling tall stories about my adventures. This is not me, BUT we all need to earn some money, right? Now, I am not greedy and I do need a challenge, hence I proceeded to investigate Online Money Making Opportunities.

Regarding my introduction to this type of business, it really was an eye opener, and you can understand why I decided to become an affiliate marketer. This is now my business and it could be yours too. Now I am very happy, have my own website and enjoying meeting the challenge. All the best, happy reading and enjoy the internet.
