T-E-A-M! There's no "I" in team. Everyone in the team is using their individual skills to make that team the best. They are proud to be a member of that team, and why shouldn't they be? They work hard, they play hard, and they expect to win. One level of showing others just how proud they are to be a part of that team is showing off the team name to anyone and everyone they can. That's why having t-shirts with your team name and logo on them is such an easy way to promote your team and to exhibit that pride.

Now, having a t-shirt designed and made for you can be expensive. Hiring someone to do the graphics design, to design the logo, to lay out the placement on the shirt, and handle all the other details of having the shirt designed and printed can add expense and time to the project that is totally unnecessary. Most especially when it's entirely possible to do almost every part of the operation yourself, except for the final steps. Printing it.

With the internet, all you have to do is pick the style of shirt you want, and then upload the graphics you'd like to use. Most teams have already spent the money to have a great logo designed and graphics designers to convert that for letterhead and for other purposes, so having the graphic on hand is usually the easiest part. Once you upload the graphic, you get the opportunity to scale it to the size you want, and then place it on the shirt wherever it looks best.

You can make it small and place it either over or on the pocket for a pocket t-shirt, or you can put the logo on the front with the team motto on the back, or whatever layout you feel looks best. And by doing all the graphics and layout work yourself, this means the price drops dramatically for the shirt. Even 3 or 4 color process shirts become reasonably priced because you've taken the time to take care of all of the major work. All the t-shirt printer has to do is convert the graphic into a usable format for their setup, set the machine, and let it print away.

Not only does this give you control over what graphics get used, where on the shirt they get placed, but it gives you the ability to see a "finished sample" because of the preview process. More and more companies are taking advantage of the web technologies out there, and this gives the customer a much better deal when it comes to price. By you putting forth a little time and a little effort, you not only get the shirts you want for your team and fans, but you save a lot of money in the process.
