Search Engine Optimization or SEO, is the most powerful and prevalent marketing medium of today. Effective Search Engine Optimization drives sales and powers business. Without it, business fails. SEO reselling starts out with a company which specializes in the services. These companies know SEO, and their entire industry is built on getting companies to the top of the search engines. SEO can be a complicated process. By specializing in the process, the provider can offer a product to other companies, which is very valuable.

SEO Service Resellers
The SEO company provides their services to other companies who can then resell the SEO product. These partner companies are engaged in the industry of reselling. Usually, the resellers have another aspect of their company. They don't function merely as an SEO service reseller. Companies which are engaged in the web industry already—web design firms, marketing companies, web hosting firms, online consultants, or web copywriters—are the most effective SEO service resellers. Since these companies already have a clientele, or can increase their clientele by functioning as an SEO service reseller, they are often successful in SEO reselling.

Getting Clients
An SEO firm doesn't need to do a whole lot of active marketing through direct sales. Instead, they enjoy viral growth by means of their partner SEO service reselling companies. The SEO company essentially "sells" a larger clientele and more visibility to each partner. That partner, by becoming an SEO service reseller, also serves to increase the SEO power of the parent company. It's a win-win-win situation for the SEO company, for the SEO service reseller, and for the company which enjoys the produce of SEO services.

Gaining Revenue
The win-win-win situation can happen because of the revenue plans of SEO companies. Often, SEO service resellers can join for free. When the SEO service reseller gains revenue from a new client, a percentage of this revenue is then deducted by the SEO company itself.

SEO Service Reseller Techniques
Most SEO service resellers use a "white label" approach to marketing. In other words, rather than advertise the services of a particular SEO company, the SEO service reseller advertises the SEO service as one component of their own business.
