The HP Photosmart D110A Wireless e-All-in-One Printer is a decent low-end printer, and you are probably getting what you have paid for. It does not have a stellar performance, but it is satisfactory, and it does have some cool features. It might work best for a small family who like to print things, especially good for the children. The printer is easy to put together, and comes nicely packed, and the only minor problem was installing the printer cartridges.

They don't go in the way the directions seem to suggest, but you won't be able to continue without getting it right. If you do make a mistake, it will tell you that they are not installed, but then installing it right, you will have to turn the power off and then back on. One nice touch is the heavy-duty canvas carrying tote that comes with it. This is a very easy printer to set up as a wireless printer, as long as you simply do what the instructions say. When you install the software on the screen, it will automatically recognize the printer.

The advertisements saystate that it is a printer for photos, and it does okay but certainly not great. Printing on quality photo paper looks great from far away, but up close you can see print lines, especially on the skin. The printer does fine on other print jobs where fine details are not that important. This printer will pretty much be a home printer, since it is not fast enough to use in a professional office. A Canon PIXMA MX860 prints much faster and does photos better, but it also costs more and is much bulkier. You definitely get what you pay for with this printer.

The scans are fine with the Photosmart, but to have any control, you will need to scan using the software installed on your computer. Using the controls on the printer doesn't always work the way it should, sometimes scanning only half of a page, or inverting the layout. Also, there is no way to feed paper, as only one page can be scanned at a time. Not only that, it only scans as images, so if you want some text, you will need some additional software. It does copy just fine, as it should, but it does not fax. If you need a fax machine, this one won't work, but who uses fax machines any longer? Another reason why this printer is not the right one for your office.

This printer comes with two web functions, one is the ePrint function, and the other is called Print Apps. The first one lets a registered user take anything from the web, and print it to your printer, and with the other one you register online at HP's site for print apps. When you setup your printer, several will already be set up for you, such as the Sudoku app, or the Coupon app
