Skiers who wear glasses have always faced numerous problems when purchasing skiing goggles.

Skiing goggle manufacturers have attempted to solve the problem by creating goggles which fit over glasses called OTG (Over The Glasses) goggles, whilst others created specially designed goggles which accommodate a custom made prescription insert which clips inside that particular goggle.

Both of these solutions still have their problems. Firstly, the choice of goggles available to skiers who wear glasses is dramatically reduced with most of the best styles and models being made in Plano (non-prescription) only and those that do offer a custom made prescription insert for specially designed goggles involves the customer purchasing the goggle & insert and then going to their opticians to ask if they will glaze the insert with their prescription. This is both costly and time consuming.

Now there's a new solution on offer. Online suppliers such as www.prescriptioninserts.com provide a range of specially designed universal prescription inserts which clip inside almost every design of skiing goggle available.

Each insert is supplied glazed to the customers distance prescription eliminating the need to visit the opticians after purchase and allows prescription wearers to tap in to the vast range of skiing goggles available.

Jon Stringer, Marketing Manager at PrescriptionInserts.Com explained "We have identified the problems faced by skiers who require corrective vision and have provided a unique solution for them.

Our inserts fit inside most Ski Goggles and Masks but to make absolutely sure the customer is receiving a good fitting insert we have also set up a free trial fitting service. Customers can order a set of 3 inserts from our website, free of charge. Each fitting set is sent out with an order form so that the customer can easily identify the best fitting insert and place their order with ease.

We feel this service opens up the ski goggle range on offer to skiers who require corrective vision. Until now they have been limited to specially designed goggles or OTG goggles where our service allows prescription wearers to purchase the Goggles that they really want instead of settling for the ones they need.

The inserts we supply come complete with prescription lenses fitted and often retail for less than a pair of single vision lenses on the high street which also saves time and money for our customers."

Universal prescription inserts for skiing goggles can be fitted to your existing goggles so there no need to purchase new goggles which are specially made to accept a custom made insert.
