Whether you've been told that you kiss like a dead fish, or you are simply worried that you might, you may find that you are facing kissing with a little bit of nervousness.

Don't worry, though; you'll find that good kissers are made, not born, and with a little bit of information and practice, you'll find that you are delivering a kiss that is worth remembering. When you are thinking about kissing, keep the following in mind.

The first thing that you should remember is that you need to relax. Many people tense up when they kiss and this leads to a kiss that can be considered too hard or too stiff. Don't worry about puckering your lips, and don't worry about mashing your glasses into your partner's face. You'll find that if you just take a moment and slow down that a lot of the problems that you may have encountered in the past or are worried about encountering are not a problem at all.

When you are thinking about kissing, you may be wondering what to do with your mouth. You'll find that you don't actually want to "pucker up." Leave your lips loose and relaxed and just gently brush them over your partner's mouth. Remember that the lips are densely packed with nerves, and that you don't need a powerful or forceful touch to make the most of them. You'll find that with just a little bit of patience, you can make your partner quite pleased.

To deepen a kiss, apply a little more pressure. When you are kissing someone, remember that one reason that you are doing it is to make your partner feel good, so stay in touch with what they want. If you notice them drawing back, closing their mouth more tightly or stiffening up, take the hint and pull back a little. You'll find that there's nothing wrong with taking it slow and that patience wins people over quite quickly. You may want to start gently licking their lower lip and seeing where to go from there by how well they respond. Remember not to drool or slobber and keep the licks soft and light.

When you have the information above worked out, you'll find that you have a great place to start. Keep in mind, though, that different people like different things, so don't be afraid to find out what they want, and remember that with kissing, as with many things, practice makes perfect!
