In 2003, a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik, came up with the modern electronic cigarette or also known as the e-cigarette. Every year, hundreds and thousands of smokers attempt to quit smoking by various methods such as nicotine patches, trying exercise and willpower with little to no success. Is electronic cigarette your solution to quitting the habit?

These battery-powered electronic cigarettes are devices meant to simulate the act of old-fashioned tobacco smoking by creating an inhaled mist carrying a similar sensation, appearance and flavour to that of tobacco smoke. Heat is used to vaporise the nicotine or non-nicotine solution, in some cases ultrasonic is used as well. It does not carry the odour of tobacco smoke and is proposed to exclude smoking hazards. The sizes of these sticks vary but usually are the size of a ballpoint pen or marker, making it easy to bring around. Different designs are available to resemble cigarettes, cigars or pipes with flavours of all kinds existing in the market. Although some versions can be disposed of, most are reusable, with parts that can be replaced or refilled when required.

The primary goal of electronic cigarettes is to reduce the adverse health risks linked to tobacco smoking such as lung cancer without sacrificing the experience of smoking. And according to surveys, it has done just that. 31% of smokers who have tried said they've quit cigarettes after 6 months of using these e-cigarettes and two-thirds said they've reduced the number of cigarettes they smoke. A third of smokers who have stopped smoking tobacco sticks also managed to quit e-cigarettes.

Even people who have smoked more than half of their lives can't tell the differences between tobacco and electronic cigarettes; this shows how well e-cigarettes can mimic smoking. E-smoking makes it easier for those who are trying to quit tobacco smoking as it helped eliminate problems such as cravings and withdrawal symptoms. All the poisonous chemicals like tar and carbon monoxide are removed, as well as the smell, but you still get the same satisfaction, and get that much closer to permanently quitting smoking.

In addition, e-cigarettes do not produce second-hand smoke, that's another load of your conscience; feel free to smoke them anywhere and everywhere without the guilt of affecting the people surrounding you. There's really no end to all the goods this electronic stick can do for you and also the people you care about. Quit smoking today and enjoy a healthier life with electronic cigarettes.

Electronic cigarettes can be a good alternative to traditional smokes, but many people still question the overall impact. A good quality electronic cigarette can last years and will surely save money in the long run. To find out more information about ecigs, please visit: =>http://buy-electronic-cigarettes.org/
